If I had a pound for every time someone told me my music was "dark" or "bleak" then I'd have at least three pounds; however, heading into 2024 this is my attempt at something with just a touch of positivity.

I know it's been hard to find much hope recently and it feels like we're very much in the backstep of the two-steps-forward-one-step-back march of human progress. It's easy to feel like it's impossible to achieve meaningful change but we must remember that it is only weight of numbers that will elicit positive results. Hassle your politicians about causes you believe in. Talk to friends who are not so engaged. Find a local charity or project to support. If there's *one* thing humanity is that's resilient, and it's time for us to show that.

The future is not set. We get to write it, but only if we can find some way to work together.

Nice collection, hard to choose a favourite as the songs are consistently at a high standard. The tracks 'Bleachers' and 'Brick Swing' jump out but 'Partially Returning Mind Fog' is the highlight for me. bostonfern73
